Boots are tight around the arch need to get them stretched. Otherwise they are great quality and exactly what I expected.

Had my first chance to wear these boots for an extended period of time yesterday and I am impressed. You usually expect the break in period to be uncomfortable, but after a full day of wear my feet felt great. Overall build quality seems good. Hopefully these boots just keep getting better and better.

The very good - Really comfortable boot, nice soft leather. Great fit. Sizing was good.
The not so good - Boots were on sale for really good price so i ended up keeping them. The left boot had one big scratch and a few small ones. Overall the leather on both boots was dry and faded looking. There were also creases on the left boot. It obviously was a return an old stock. I emailed or texted Capitan (they don’t provide a customer service phone number). Since this was the last of my size i asked them if they could repair the scratches or provide a partial refund so i could fix the scratch. They said no, only option was to return. This is honorable but they had no replacements at the price point in any of their boots. I got such a good deal i decided to keep them. I put applied leather conditioner and then polished with good boot cream. Looks great now.
If i paid full price i would have returned them.

This is my second pair of Capitan boots and they never disappoint. I have a 3rd pair on order as I write this update. Build quality is really good, and fit as expected. I challenge anyone to find a boot of this quality for the sale price that was offered. You just won't find it!!

Very pleased with the boots and with the company.
You wont find a better boot for the money, although you will find some boots that are not as good or any better for a lot more money.
They look good and fit good. Time will tell how they hold up to wear, I think they will do just fine.
